Our Institution:
Welcome to Dept of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Education, B.E.A. College of Education, Davangere. It was established in the year 1991 and is also one of the famous institutions and it is managed by Bapuji Educational Association®, Davangere, which is a prestigious management of our Karnataka State.
The College of Education was started to meet precise need that is to train Teacher Educators for Training Colleges.

Our emblem and name Bapuji symbolizes the truth, knowledge, simple life and also need of Education with spiritual, moral, social and human values. The Bapuji’s Philosophy of life, role and importance of education to rural and poor people in the light of

Profile of the College:
Dept. of P. G. Studies and Research in Education, B.E.A College of Education, Davangere, is one of the best Dept. in Kuvempu University. It was established in year 1991, the main purpose of starting this Dept. is to meet precise need to train Teacher Educators for Training Colleges. This idea was conceived and made more effective by our Hon’le Secretary
Sri. Dr.Shamanur Shivashankarappa. His leadership, insight and foresights always influence every one. He is also the Governing body member of our Dept. from 1991 till today.
Sri A.C.Jayanna, is our governing body chairman, his excellence and leadership is more useful to our Dept. and
Sri S.G.Shivalingappa, is the Principal, from the academic year since 2006. Our college campus is having D.Ed., B.Ed., and B.P.Ed., all these courses are run by self financing mode.
